Beauty and the Beast Featured Set by The Portrait Dude
When Wes (The Portrait Dude) mentioned that this set was available to us, we decided we had to jump on it and interrupt our just-started Katsucon 2017 content stream.
Wes got together at a castle in northern Ohio with the incredibly talented Knightmage and SuperKayce (I thinks it’s very obvious who is who) for this outstanding and gorgeous Beauty and the Beast photo shoot. With the live action version of Beauty and the Beast opening in theaters March 17, the timing was perfect.
As you might imagine, a shoot this complicated and beautiful took the work of more than the photographer and two cosplayers. Wes points out that he had help from assistant photographers Nisa Cole and John Schulte. Props (Enchanted Rose, Cogsworth and Lumiere) were made by Knightmage and RKG Cosplay.
The castle itself is Landoll’s Mohican Castle in Loudonville, Ohio, and was the perfect setting for this subject.
