Our first gallery from the 2017 version of the Cosplay And Photography Expo, held this past weekend at the Holiday Inn Hotel and Suites in Nashua, NH, is from me — such as it is.  As one of the two people running the show I had almost no time to shoot photos myself.

On Sunday I decided to keep my camera with me at the registration table to grab at least some shots of the amazing cosplayers who were attending. So below is my mini-gallery from our first two-day event of education and fun around making cosplay and taking pictures of cosplay.

Among the cosplayers in the gallery are Aemiliaaaaaaa, panelists Lucky Grim Creative and Mhysa CosplayLenaKali Cosplay?, La Panim CosplayClillith cosplay, Giraffe Cosplay, Jackie-chan Cosplay, and many (OK, some) more. The gallery starts with my partner Manny and one of our first out of town panelists, Wes, The Portrait Dude. Just to show how much he wanted to be a part of C.A.P.E., he drove 12 hours from Ohio after storms cancelled one leg of his flight in. Not at our insistence, mind you — we tried to talk him out of it (seriously, who does that?)

Photo gallery tips: Once the page loads the images, you will see the Forward and Back navigation arrows above the image, in case you want to scroll faster than the preset. And to see the entire gallery as thumbnails, click on the gray four-box square next to the navigation arrows.

High-res images for sale!
If you are pictured in any of our galleries and want the high resolution download for yourself, we can make it available via a private, password-protected link, for $8 per image. Just send an email to editor AT

The Shape of Water Will Fill Your Hearts and Minds

The tagline for Guillermo del Toro’s The Shape of Water is “A Fairy Tale for Troubled Times.” It’s a clever phrase whose double meaning is quite apt. Set in the incredibly troubled Cold War era of 1962, its depiction of...
