Is The CW Prepping A Live-Action Young Justice Show?
I hate spoilers, but there is no way to keep from dropping a huge hint about what happened in recent Berlanti Productions shows on The CW network and still use the right headline. So, fair warning, there will be plenty of spoilers below and rampant wild speculation based on the appearance of characters in recent weeks on the DC TV universe.

A few weeks ago The Flash introduced its version of the speedsters Jesse Quick (Jesse Wells, played by Violett Beane) and Kid Flash (Wally West, played by Keiynan Lonsdale). While Kid Flash has been taken out of the story (only for a while, I bet) because of the Flashpoint timeline kerfuffle, Jesse already has her uniform and is being trained.
Then this week the still struggling Supergirl put a couple of cherries on top of the marvelous treat that is Tyler Hoechlin as Superman by introducing both a version of Superboy (Mon-El, played by Chris Wood) and Miss Martian (M’gann M’orzz, played by Sharon Leal).
OK, you think, so we have a Superboy and a Miss Martian and a Jesse Quick. Maybe a Kid Flash. Nice group but still not enough for a good team show. Patience, grasshopper.
Last night, the Berlanti show Arrow gave the female team member of the new group her own codename — Artemis (Evelyn Sharp, played by Madison McLaughlin). And yes, she is an archer now, and not the fill-in Black Canary she was last season.
So we now have many of the core members of the team from the long-lamented animated brilliance that was Young Justice. Of course, there is no Robin, but that makes sense as Fox has the Batman part of the DC universe and is unlikely to give up that character.
While there has been a lot of talk online about Berlanti shopping around a Black Lightning TV show, I’ve seen nothing about his company working toward a Young Justice show. But it would miss one of the biggest opportunities it was ever presented with if it decided to not go down that path. Do you think that is where all of these recent reveals are headed?
