TotalCon 2011 Pictorial

Total Confusion 2011, which took place in Mansfield, Massachusetts, was one of the most exciting and yet relaxing conventions I had ever been to. Here you can sit back, make new friends or find old ones, geek about in the vendors area and most importantly, over the next four days, take part of the hundreds of scheduled role-playing and board games. From my first step walking in, everyone there was very friendly. The vendor area had a lot to offer for game enthusiasts; everything from dice, to figures to rare books could be found there. Also you had opportunities to talk to professionals in the RPG industry; from fantasy artist Don Higgins to RPG Industry Legend Frank Mentzer! The game room was packed with people of all ages and sexes trying out old favorites and new products!

The area they picked out for this event was well-chosen. The Holiday Inn at Mansfield had a lot of rooms available for panels and movie showings. And if you wanted to relax further, you can swim around the pool or hang out at the video game area. If you were tired out from gaming (which I don’t understand how that can ever be possible) you can watch the movie Ninja Zombies by Noah Cooper Films that premiered there on Saturday night!

Saturday though was the biggest draw with the Iron GM tournament. Our photographer and reviewer ShutterbugB will have a review of that event shortly!  Also stay tuned for a second set of pictures of TotalCon coming up by Sammy Pipeline!

Below is a pictorial put together  by ShutterbugB of the events and gamers that invaded at TOTALCON! You can find more information about the con here!
