Winter NECC 2016 Saturday Cosplay Gallery
The biannual convention Northeast Comic Con returned for its Winter version to the Shriner’s Auditorium in Wilmington, MA, this past weekend. The convention is slowly getting bigger, with more vendors, but this most recent iteration seemed to have smaller crowds and fewer cosplayers than the Summer con. That said, I was still able to get enough photos for two galleries, starting with Winter NECC 2016 Saturday gallery.
Because of the relative small size of the convention I was able to shoot some events I usually can’t get to at other cons, like the Cosplay Death Match and the Cosplay Dating Game. Check out the various battles and dance-offs, including one between Death Match winner Wonder Woman and Santapool. Among the cosplayers in this gallery are NECC’s cosplay events host Chris Doherty Quest For Screen Accuracy assisted by Kitteninstrings Cosplay, GeezAlize Cosplay, The AngryGeeks interviewing comic creator (and NECC producer) Johnny C for a podcast, Mysty Riddler’s Piratanical Cosplays, Chelsea Von Chastity Cosplay, Petry Cosplays, Random Raul, Cosplay Dad, Everyone’s Hero Cosplay, Moonie Warrior Cosplay, the band Gwell-O, Lilith Astaroth dancing on stage in a catlike mask with scarves, and many more.
