PAX East 2025 Pokémon Cosplay Meetup Gallery

Cosplayers dressed as characters from the Pokémon game franchise gathered at 6 p.m. Friday evening in Room 109 at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center for the second official cosplay meetup of PAX East 2025. Organized and hosted by geek.en.chic (who is in our first studio gallery from Saturday, but as Spider-Gwen, not a Pokémon character) the meetup brought together lots of members of Team Rocket and lots of gijinka Pokémon designs.

After looking at Jibrii’s shots from the previous Marvel Rivals meetup, I had just one suggestion — that he get a few shots that would work as behind-the-scenes photos. Mainly shots that included people taking pictures or organizing the groups, in addition to the groups themselves or the staged set pieces, such as Jigglypuff putting everyone to sleep. Jibrii got some pretty cool shots that captured that feel.

Among the cosplayers in this gallery are himbohusbando, geek.en.chic, baggincats_cosplay, terlian.thief, and many more.

We now use Smugmug to present cosplay photo galleries and will post all photos there, with a link to each gallery in its own gallery article. This will allow us to give you higher resolution images to download — still for free.
