PAX East 2026 Friday Gallery Part 4
About one quarter into the gallery linked below — gallery four of five from Friday of PAX East 2026 — I took over camera duties from David. So, you will see the ratio change back from 3:2 to 4:3. To find out why that happened, check out the article for Friday gallery No. 2.
With Victoria helping out at the table, Cailin offered to go get me a burrito bowl from the food court in the MCEC. Not having time to get any lunch yet, I was happy to get a late lunch or early dinner, depending on your viewpoint. Was it too expensive? Of course, it was convention food, which is always more costly than anything similar outside a convention center. But the food made at the Thomas M. Menino Convention & Exhibition Center is usually quite good, and the burrito bowl was no exception.
Jibrii of spectra_v3 had multiple back-to-back Cosplay Meetups to shoot in the room next door, and when he came back, he showed me some of shots and they looked even better than last year’s photos. That was partly due to me lending him my Sigma 17-50 f/2.8 lens, which meant the camera could be used at higher shutter speeds in lower light environments. As we did last year, those galleries will go up after all of the studio galleries get posted — and maybe even some time after that, since I will be at Anime Boston taking cosplay photos when you are reading this (assuming you read it when it goes live). Those galleries will need to get posted too.
