PAX East 2026 Saturday Gallery Part 7

We are finally at the end of the galleries from the very busy Saturday of PAX East 2026. The gallery starts with a bunch of my cosplay friends in their excellent Resident Evil cosplays, and near the end is a selfie of David, throwing out a peace sign. The perils of leaving your camera unattended while taking a bio break.

How busy was Saturday? After all bad photos were removed the final count of photos taken that day was still just over 1,100. That is a 46 percent increase over Saturday of 2025, when I took 750 useable photos. This year on Saturday alone we took almost the same number of photos as I did on Friday and Saturday combined last year, which totaled 1,230.

And while part of me really hates to say it, I hope we break that record again next year. Maybe not by so much though — a 25 percent increase would be fine.

Also, I have to apologize to the father of the kid for whom I broke our rule of not emailing photos — I can’t find the paper you wrote your information on. If you read this, please email me at the email address on the business card.

By the way, in case you were wondering if I went out to blow off steam after such a long day once Room 207 was closed, no such luck. Part of our deal with PAX East involves processing a handful of photos from the day to send to the social media team for posting the next day. I was in my room processing photos until about 9 p.m. and crashed shortly thereafter. Not that I mind it much — my post-con partying days are long behind me.
