Anime Boston 2026 Saturday Part 2
By early afternoon on Saturday at Anime Boston 2026 things started getting pretty busy, Busy enough that I asked my table assistant for the weekend, Clever, to hang out at the table instead of swinging by every 90 minutes or so to check in, as was the case on Friday. In addition to allowing me to keep taking photos while Clever explained where people could find them, it let cosplayers take advantage of his posing and prop ideas, as was the case with the first of the two Dazai cosplayers.
About three quarters of the way through this gallery is when the fill flash batteries died, and I decided to not replace them and go with just one main flash. The next two galleries and all of the Sunday galleries will have photos taken with just the single light, as I usually did at Anime Boston when it had the much more interesting red walls (sigh).
This gallery starts off with yet another example of reconnecting with cosplayers I hadn’t seen in a while, in this case razorsedgecosplay in the Bloodbourne cosplay. OK, to be fair, I may have seen him sometime in the past few years inside one of Extreme Costumes‘ giant builds and not known it, so let’s say it was the first time in a long time I’ve seen him in his own cosplay.
And while there are lots of wonderful cosplays in this gallery, I didn’t geek out over many obscure or random looks — until I got to the mashup of the Joker, seemingly a blend of many different versions, and Casey Jones from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
In this second of four Saturday galleries you’ll find cosplayers razorsedgecosplay, saurianwarriorcosplay, actuallyjupiter, bulletdancercosplay, scraps_cosplay, rodimus_cerix, unhinged1cosplay, johncenafan69x, chellebellecosplay, deshsaionji, etherealamberr, spooky_sharayah, st00fers, sunbunnycosplay, generalbenkenobi, ixneedxaxlife, thisisdefintelynotcat, mrpancakes007, bunnymooncosplay, violetguo_mizuhooo, greengrasspony, and many more.
