April 29, 2024

The last time I was at Anime Boston was 2019. In 2020 and 2021, covid closed AB; in 2022, covid sidelined me just days before I was set to work with Nerd Caliber in the photo studio; and I was out state for work in 2023. So just to be 110% certain covid wouldn’t keep me away yet again, I took two tests the week before AB.

Thankfully, both tests were negative and I was able to work at the table on Saturday. Man, I’ve missed AB – the energy, the cosplays, the craftsmanship. It’s always an incredible show. I love how many people are excited to put together fun, creative and often obscure anime cosplays, from cosplayers’ first costumes all the way to people competing in the Masquerade.

With the big crowds on the biggest day, it was great that both Rodney and I were at the table and could both make photos. It ensured we were able to shoot with as many people as possible. I will also be posting a gallery later this week from a fun shoot with senpaim00n.

Cosplayers in this gallery include cosmic_problems, kayolacrayoncosplay, jithvan & nero_the_sable_gsd, jiro-senseiookyspookycosplay, ayarinkristy, kenneth_pereira, russetburrbank, foxx_cosplayy, queeng33ky, devineee.0703, daydreamingcrow, adrian.d.spider, grubbypirateboy, seirvitas, qilincreations, mrpancakes007, and many more.

We use Smugmug to present cosplay photo galleries and post all photos there, with a link to each gallery in its own gallery article. This allows us to give you higher resolution images to download — still for free.

To view the entire gallery, just click on the image below. If you are pictured in any of our galleries, feel free to download the images and use them non-commercially on social media, with appropriate credit.
