Anime Boston 2025 Cosplay Gallery Saturday Part 4
Like the afternoon of the day before, late afternoon and early evening Saturday saw large crowds start to mill around the entrance to the hallway that ran along the Dealers Room in Halls C and D. And like Friday, Anime Boston 2025 security volunteers had to shoo them away from the area until it was time to queue up for one of the biggest events of the convention the Masquerade.
I wish I could tell you who won the big awards at the Masquerade, but the results don’t seem to be on the Anime Boston website and no amount of Google or Duck Duck Go searching will find them. At least not in any clear format — there is one video of the entire Masquerade, but trying to glean accurate names and award titles from the audio of cell phone video is a recipe for disaster.
To be clear, I did just see the start of all the lining up activity, because I had to close up shop early, at 5:00 p.m. I was catsitting for the remainder of the Memorial Day weekend and had to get to the place I was staying at to feed the cat before too late in the evening. I had just stood up and was reaching for my light stand when the cosplayer with the last shots in the gallery, cosplaying as an original Viking character, came by for photos.
