Cape Cod Photoshoot Week 2020 Teaser Gallery
Since we couldn’t hold our fourth annual Cape Cod Photoshoot Week in May as usual because of covid-19 restrictions on hotel operations in Massachusetts, we decided to move it into late October — the other side of the resort season on the Cape. We could still take advantage of the beautiful locations on Cape Cod for cosplay photography shoots during the off season when the Cape is way less crowded than in the busy summer — just at the end of that season, not the beginning.
Like every year, we were staying at the Southfleet Motor Inn in South Wellfleet, managed by Alex and Kota (who goes by ldcos618 on Instagram). In addition to the fact that Kota is my cousin, we chose the Southfleet because it is centrally located to many of the most scenic locations on the Cape. Five beaches are less than a 10 minute drive in almost any direction. The entrance to the famous Marconi Beach is right across the road from the inn, and the Cedar Swamp is under five minutes away. Provincetown and all its fabulous glory is less than a 30-minute drive away.
Despite the covid-19 pandemic, we had the best attendance numbers in years. We even required people to get free tickets so we could track the number of attendees each day and keep attendance under the state-mandated 25 maximum, but that didn’t deter anyone from attending, that I know of.

Cosplayers in this teaser gallery include Chocolate Ninja Cosplay, Petry Cosplays, ldcos618, sewpoke_cosplay, Multitudes Cosplay, Not Quite Done Yet Cosplay, and Saurian Warrior Cosplay. The cosplayer in Bombshell Batwoman and Spider-Gwen doesn’t have a cosplay page.
We now use Smugmug to present cosplay photo galleries and will post all photos there, with a link to each gallery in its own gallery article. This will allow us to give you higher resolution images to download — still for free.
