Featured Set: Cloud City Characters Cosplay by Wonderllama Photo

With the sad passing of Carrie Fisher this month, we’ve been posting galleries of Princess Leia cosplayers. This gallery features everyone’s favorite princess on Cloud City, along with Luke, Lando, Han, Chewie and R2-D2.

The Cloud City scenes from Empire Strikes Back have several amazing, unique costumes. The Amazing Joy hand-made her incredibly detailed Bespin Leia cosplay. Along with Leia, we have J. Warford as Luke Skywalker, Calvin Exum as Lando Calrissian, and Mark Poutenis as Chewie.

This shoot, from Rhode Island Comic Con 2016, was both a blast and a challenge. We had limited time in the Omni. The security guard alternated between tapping his watch in the classic “wrap it up” gesture and trying not to look like he desperately wanted to get in the shot. And a 7′ tall screen-accurate Chewie and a mechanized R2 rolling around tends to gather a huge crowd. Once we were done shooting, everyone was gracious with their time, posing for photos with dozens of appreciative Star Wars fans.
