Granite State Comicon 2021 Sunday Cosplay Gallery Part 1
By the time I had checked out of the hotel Sunday morning and made it into the Armory, it was clear that Granite State Comicon Assistant Floor Manager Chris had been true to his word — he had the DoubleTree turn on the air conditioning bright and early and it had been running for hours. That made Sunday morning so much more comfortable than the brick-lined swamp the space was on Saturday morning.
Since I had a smaller lighting setup than the last GraniteCon, in 2019, getting it back to the ready to shoot stage was a piece of cake. That gave me plenty of time to field questions about Sunday’s Kids Costume Contest, which I was mostly clueless about. Luckily Chris again came to the rescue, clearing up entry policies and pre-contest procedures. As is typical of a Sunday at any convention — pre-pandemic or otherwise — there were fewer people in attendance and that is reflected in the fact there are two Sunday galleries as opposed to Saturday’s three.
