Megacon 2023 Cosplay Gallery Th-Fri Part 1 By Cantera Image
Similar to our deal with Fan Expo Boston, at Megacon in Orlando, we supply a photographer to shoot the cosplay contest entrants in their awesome cosplay, and anyone else that wanders by the studio space. Gregg of Wonderllama Photography is the team member who handles that, but when he is available, one of our longest-serving team members, Manny of Cantera Image, handles hall cosplay photos, and he did so again this year.
It’s been too many years since I’ve been to Megacon. It is one of my favorite conventions, both because of the awesome cosplay on display, but also because it is usually held in early Spring, when temperatures here in New England struggle to get out of the 30s, and Orlando is usually in the 70s. For Manny, who has been a resident of Florida for years now, that is just another day in the Sunshine State.
Because Thursday is a short day and Manny only was able to attend for a short time, I’ve combined the Thursday photos with those from Friday, to get two galleries out of the combined set. The first 20 or so images in this set are from Thursday, and the rest from Friday.
Cosplayers in this gallery include taurocos, and many more.
We use Smugmug to present cosplay photo galleries and post all photos there, with a link to each gallery in its own gallery article. This allows us to give you higher resolution images to download — still for free.
