NYCC 2018 Gallery By Adam Etheridge, Friday Part 2

We now come to my second and final set of photos from Friday at New York Comic Con. Since the discontinuation of multi-day badge sales last year, many cosplayers have begun buying tickets for only two or three days of the convention, often skipping Thursday. This means that Friday is the day of the convention that the quantity of cosplayers really begins to pick up.

I started my day off stopping by one of the daily DC Cosplayer East meetups to grab a few photos. The group had a great turnout as they always do during New York Comic Con. I then stopped by a small meetup of Devil May Cry cosplayers hosted by Sakuraharunogirl (side note: I’ve seen this cosplayer around enough now that I actually spelled that correctly on the first try). This was definitely a timely meetup, as Capcom has begun heavily promoting the newest installment of the series, Devil May Cry 5, which is set to release next year.

I ended the day by venturing outside the building for some photos. Although the tunnel area is no longer attractive to me to take photos in anymore due to the food trucks that are now parked there every year, I was able to find a couple of other suitable spots just outside the doors.

Among the cosplayers in this gallery are Kristen Lanae, Cosplay Butterfly, Sakuraharunogirl, Nadyasonika, Starlight Goddess Cosplay, Collin Summers CosplayCosplay by Mikette, Sky Cosplay, Azulette Cosplay, uptownbill007, ryemiw, catsinabelfry, purplemuffinz, cosplayfrizzy, chris_k_cosplayjamal_johns, and many more.
