PAX East 2022 Gallery By FirstPerson Shooter Saturday Part 1
Saturday morning’s entry into the Boston Convention And Exhibition Center was much smoother than I thought, despite the fact that I couldn’t valet park my car, since the valet service wasn’t running due to — I was told — “construction.” Once I got inside it was clear that PAX East was going to be even busier than it was on Friday. It was the only day that sold out all tickets, after all.
Once I got my gear set up I had a steady stream of cosplayers come by, including the amazing barbershop quartet BioShop Infinite. At first they posed as though they were singing, then decided that was silly and actually serenaded me with a couple of verses. A pretty great way to set the mood for the day.
And I needed a good start, since our Cosplay And Photography Shoot-Out panel was at 7:30 that evening. Since I set up at 9:30 in the morning, that was 10 hours of shooting photos before being in a one-hour panel. Needless to say, I was glad to eventually be back home at 10 that night.

We now use Smugmug to present cosplay photo galleries and will post all photos there, with a link to each gallery in its own gallery article. This will allow us to give you higher resolution images to download — still for free.
