PAX East 2023 Fri-Sat Cosplay Gallery By Samie Wong Photos Part 1

While I was comfortably seated in the open elevator bay with its large windows, photographing cosplayers against the open space of the BCEC lobby, Samie of samiewongphotos was wandering the halls and show floor at PAX East 2023 also taking cosplay photos. This is my preferred strategy at a large convention, since it increases the chances of capturing the widest assortment of cosplayers.

Since work kept Samie from getting to the convention until just before the show floor closed on Friday, she only was able to get about a dozen pics, so I’ve combined those with the Saturday photos. This first gallery is of images from Friday and Saturday, and the second gallery to be published soon will be just from Saturday.

While the gallery is mostly made up of cosplayers, Samie also took a few shots of cool things she saw — and one of our Cosplay And Photography Shoot-Out panel, featuring two bald photographers (me and Wonderllama Photography) and two cool cosplayers (spectra_v3 and Mink the Satyr Cosplay).
