PAX East 2026 Sunday Gallery Part 2
Like in the last gallery, David took over the photo duties about one-third of the way into this one. Unlike last one, it started to get busy enough that he stayed shooting throughout the rest the gallery and into the next one.
The rest of the team were enjoying the more relaxed atmosphere of Sunday at PAX East 2026. Cailin was once again my table assistant for most of the day, with Victoria joining her often. Manny and Luis were mostly done with their video projects and were taking time to check out the show floor and maybe buy some merch. Jibrii had no Cosplay Meetups scheduled for Sunday but wanted to check out the VTubers Meetup at 11:30 a.m. in case a bunch of people showed up in cosplay as their favorite VTubers. Which turned out not to be the case, so he came back pretty quickly.
You’ll see early on in this gallery that the Sailor Moon family from the last gallery came back with more friends and family also cosplaying from the anime. I love to see people bring other cosplayers into the studio to get photos — between that and Nana out on the show floor giving out his last handful of cards (we had completely run out by this point in the weekend) we kept a supply of fresh cosplay faces coming in.
Also of note in this gallery are the family photos of koifishasylum and glitch_vbk with their girls, all in Super Mario Bros. cosplay. They showed up right after the doors opened at 10 a.m. but it took hours before the girls were ready to cooperate with getting their pictures taken. Patient parenting for the win — don’t make kids do anything they aren’t ready for.
