PopCult Anime Con 2022 Saturday Gallery Part 2

The second half of Saturday at PopCult Anime Con 2022 started off a bit slowly, as people were possibly taking a late lunch, or as panels pulled them away from the hallways and into event rooms. I took advantage of that time to have some lunch of my own (shout out to staff photographers Shinakophoto and Purple Dolphin Photography for that and generally being awesome and helpful throughout the entire con) and it wasn’t long before I got busy again, mainly because of two events.

First was the concert by the anime song cover band GaRu Power. That was in the large event room behind me, and filled the foyer with cosplayers waiting to get in. Right after the concert was the Masquerade, arguably the most popular event of the convention (although the Idol Showcase on Sunday might take the crown). That brought even more cosplayers into the foyer space where my studio setup was located and kept me bust until the Masquerade started.

I packed up to head home, but as I was waiting in the lobby, three friends of Nerd Caliber walked by in the amazing cosplays from the series Loki, as you can see below. I had to break out my camera for these last couple of photos of the day.

Among the cosplayers in this gallery are makeupmermaidcosplay, Redfield design, frozenheart2715, amaranthinebunny, momochi_cosplays, chibimaicosplay, ailuro.cosplay, aceofsnakes, the.sweet.card, theunworthycosplayers, Blue Eyed Fairy Cosplay and More, viajeras_, beaniethe13th, and many more.

We now use Smugmug to present cosplay photo galleries and will post all photos there, with a link to each gallery in its own gallery article. This will allow us to give you higher resolution images to download — still for free.
