PortConMaine 2018 Cosplay Gallery, Saturday

I have just one gallery from Saturday at PortConMaine 2018 for a couple of reasons, one obvious and one less so. The obvious reason is that our two panels were on Saturday, so with set up and prep, that was almost three hours of time I wasn’t taking pictures.

The less obvious one was the regular downpours Saturday afternoon. The rain drove most attendees indoors, and the convention space at the DoubleTree Hotel in South Portland gets really crowded in that situation. So crowded that it became difficult to maintain clear space to put people when taking pictures.

Even so, we got a great response to both panels Beginning Cosplay Photography and the Advanced Cosplay Q&A and were able to promote our upcoming convention, the Cosplay And Photography Expo.
