TerrifiCon 2019 Cosplay Gallery Part 1

TerrifiCon has been operating at the enormous casino complex Mohegan Sun since it launched in 2016. I’ve never had the chance to cover it, although we have had both photo galleries and YouTube videos from the convention over the past few years.

So my first visit to TerrifiCon (and Mohegan Sun for that matter) happened to coincide with the first time the convention was held in the new Earth Expo and Convention Center. It was a significant space increase over the previous rooms TerrifiCon used, and convention managers filled that extra space. Adding more vendors and celebrities also seemed to draw quite a few more attendees. While I had no previous experience to draw from, everyone I talked to that had been to the previous year’s con remarked on how many more people there seemed to be, even with the bigger space.

I was only able to attend Saturday, but I still took enough photos for three galleries. We now use Smugmug to present cosplay photo galleries and will post all photos there, with a link to each gallery in its own gallery article. This will allow us to give you higher resolution images to download — still for free.
