Umbrella Academy Cosplay Gallery By Crash: The Photos

This week Netflix announced the premier date of the second season of the wonderful series Umbrella Academy will be July 31, 2020. The news came in the form a video of the cast members dancing solo to an updated cover of the song I Think We’re Alone Now by Tiffany, each of them clearly isolating in their own home. Check it out — I think the only word for it is adorable.

Normally in this self-isolating, no-new-content era I would pull together a retrospective gallery of cosplays from the show that I had photographed over the years. But when our Associate Producer Luis of Crash: The Photos mentioned he had a whole featured set of Umbrella Academy cosplayers from back at Anime Boston 2019, I jumped at it.

Starring in this outstanding photo shoot is dolphinsensei as Ben, Ailuro Cosplay as No. 5, sayla_aris as Vanya, magicalskye13 as Klaus, broyoma as Allison, winterpersephone as Grace (Mom), and dragondeplatacosplay as Diego.

Until I saw this set I thought I had captured the best images of Ailuro Cosplay as No. 5 with Delores when I shot pictures at the bar in the hotel at PortConMaine 2019 on Saturday. But as usual Luis’ cinematic eye and excellent skill sets the bar.

We now use Smugmug to present cosplay photo galleries and will post all photos there, with a link to each gallery in its own gallery article. This will allow us to give you higher resolution images to download — still for free.
