What Movies in 2024 Are You Most Excited For?
The past year was a rough one for nerd movie fans. Most movies that did get released were still tainted by the effects of the pandemic (which is still ongoing, folks. The latest variant is super infectious and long covid gets more likely with each infection. Wear masks at cons and events) and it showed in the final products. Then the strikes by writers and actors pushed many 2023 releases into 2024 or beyond (again, the strikes were justified and I’m very happy the strikers got good deals). So, this year is stacked with movies that were planned for release this year always, and a slew of flicks that were supposed to come out last year (looking at you, Dune: Part Two).
Below is a partial, albeit very long, list of movies coming out this year. Some movies that allegedly have a 2024 release date but are still in pre-production aren’t on here. And I’m sure I missed some that are a lock for release in 2024. But it should contain most of the nerd movies set to come out in 2024.
