DragonCon 2016 Cosplay Gallery 1 by Bentpic5

This year, attendees were in high numbers on the so-called “Day Zero” for DragonCon. A lot of attendees arrived Wednesday and Thursday to check in and start their con weekend. By the afternoon, there were costumes and cosplays swirling among the lobbies of the select host hotels. Here’s to another year of my photo coverage of the costumes and events.

Below is my DragonCon 2016 cosplay gallery 1, mixed with photos of Thursday and Friday. There are even more galleries to come. Cosplayers in this gallery include Lonstermash, Kimberly Cosplay, Boobafett, MarieJane and Ms Pepper Potts, StephBot Cosplay, and many others.

Photo gallery tips: Once the page loads the images, you will see the Forward and Back navigation arrows above the image, in case you want to scroll faster than the preset. And to see the entire gallery as thumbnails, click on the gray four-box square next to the navigation arrows.

High-res images for sale!
If you are pictured in any of our galleries and want the high resolution download for yourself, we can make it available via a private, password-protected link, for $8 per image. Just send an email to editor AT

We are also now selling high resolution images of some of the photos taken of cosplayers that have agreed to let us do so. To see the 50 or so images we have available to download for a mere $8 each, go to our Anime Boston 2016 sales gallery and our brand new Spring Super Megafest 2016 sales gallery.

About the Author

Blake Entrekin has been doing photography as a hobby for almost 10 years now. He went to his first convention about the same time but never put cosplay and photography together until 2009. In 2012, he revamped his photography branding to Bentpic5 and has been slowly growing every year since. He is amazed at how far his work reaches. He grew up with Toonami and thanks them for making him the anime fan he is today. IIf you want to hire him for a cosplay shoot, you can hire him at the link below!.
