Another Anime Con 2025 Saturday Gallery Part 2
In addition to a comped hotel room, one of the benefits of being an official function of Another Anime Convention (AAC) was access to the staff Green Rooms for meals and snacks. As Saturday morning moved into early afternoon, staffers came by to ensure I had time to take a break and get lunch — what turned out to be an impressive array of various breads, cheeses, deli meats, toppings and condiments, along with a wide variety of chips or crackers.
As always when I am shooting at a convention, I eat where I work and will stop to take photos of any cosplayers who come by. I don’t mind being interrupted, although to be clear, that’s my policy and it shouldn’t be applied to anyone else at a con. The default stance should be, if someone is eating, don’t bother them.
In this gallery is a good example of how the paper Photo Suite sign attracted cosplayers. The group from the anime Soul Eater stuck their heads in the room, curious as to what was happening, and it didn’t take much convincing to encourage them to come in for pics. Oh, and Freddy Meowcury returns, along with a group of creative Pokémon-Sailor Scout mashups, and with photo staffer Max of max.makes.media in his own Umbreon kigu.
Also in this gallery is animesuckx, as Frankie from the doll line Monster High. They did their first videos for us as an interviewer at Granite State Comic Con last month. The first of those is already up on our YouTube channel, and you should check it out.
