Everything You Wanted To Know About Mistborn: House War
Anyone that is currently into modern high fantasy novels knows about The Wheel of Time series written by Robert Jordan (which Amazon Prime is currently adapting to a TV series). And anyone who is familiar with those novels knows that Robert Jordan sadly passed away before the series was completed. Fortunately, there was enough material and notes left over so the series can be completed and writer Brandon Sanderson was chosen by Jordan’s widow to help complete the series because she was impressed with his writing of Mistborn.
Mistborn is a fantasy world where heroes like the Fellowship lost to a villain like Sauron. There is Lord Ruler who has ruled for thousands of years over The Great Houses. The land is full of ash and decay. No one dares to hope until Kelsier, a common thief, who is half-mad from enduring and escaping the worst of dungeons, plans to take down the powers that be with some powerful skills he learned from his imprisonment.
At Gen Con 2019, I visited Crafty Games, who has worked with Brandon Sanderson to develop a board game based on his first Mistborn novel called Mistborn: House War. Check out the video below to hear more about this game.
