Good Omens Cosplays On News Of New Pratchett Adaptations Deal

On our Tuesday evening YouTube show Nerd Week Live I talked about the news that Narrativia, the production company founded by the late Terry Pratchett, entered into a deal to make adaptations of his various works in a way that will be “faithful to [his] original, unique genius,” according to the article on The Guardian.

Apparently this is a reaction the to first images and trailers of the upcoming BBC series The Watch, based on Pratchett’s Discworld books, which have been described by Pratchett’s daughter and co-director of Narrativia Rhianna as having a “cyberpunk” look.

Since I haven’t taken photos of many characters from other works by Pratchett, I pulled together a retrospective gallery of cosplays of Crowley and Aziraphale from the book Good Omens, which Pratchett co-wrote with Neil Gaiman. The 2019 TV mini-series was an enormous hit for Amazon, and nerd fan favorites David Tennant (Crowley) and Michael Sheen (Aziraphale) portrayed the demon and angel magnificently.

The series was such a hit that this gallery is from conventions from 2019 and 2020 only and still has 28 photos. Among these cosplayers are sunrisedragon, silverfalconcosplay, apocalypse.unicorn, Sennedjem Cosplay, Silhouette Cosplay, Bombeii Cosplay and Photography, queenofcoatscosplay, sisucosplayandcraft, Walking Goddess SFX, Gogo Incognito, MicroMerc Cosplay, Miss Molly the Cosplayer, mreebee3coats, ffximoogle_cosplay, and many more.

We now use Smugmug to present cosplay photo galleries and will post all photos there, with a link to each gallery in its own gallery article. This will allow us to give you higher resolution images to download — still for free.
