PAX East 2023 Saturday Cosplay Gallery By FirstPerson Shooter Part 3

The skies outside the BCEC got gray pretty early on Saturday afternoon at PAX East 2023, as a cold drizzly rain crept in. Because of that, the background in these images is darker than the previous two galleries, and not just because I wrapped up after sunset, a bit after 7 p.m. I actually prefer this look in my photos from this facility, but to get it close to this on a bright sunny day, I need to crank down the camera settings enough that I need to jack up the power of my flash, which reduces how many flashes I can get out of it before it needs recharging. One of these days I will get a spare battery, so I don’t have to worry about this.

In this gallery you will see pics from when I turned off my flash to get some available light photos of Karl from kbaiphoto taking photos of Eldritch Arts as Loki with light stand help from our team member Gregg of Wonderllama Photography using a very bright green LED wand light. Just some interesting behind-the-scenes photos of what is pretty typical when a bunch of us photographers get together at a convention like PAX East.

Among the cosplayers in this last gallery from Saturday are ctcowboy71, s_noelle_cosplay, alisonbirbz, craftycontraptions, floris_lilium, el_hombrebat, madjimivanvai, grimdalorian, Eldritch Arts, jofatecosplay, gnattysparkles, spideyfromdablock, kejoca, roaming_owl, nessiecosplays, The Crafting Cheese, darthlounatic, nataliefuinha, and many more.

We use Smugmug to present cosplay photo galleries and post all photos there, with a link to each gallery in its own gallery article. This allows us to give you higher resolution images to download — still for free.
