PAX East 2026 Saturday Gallery Part 4

After I let David do all the photography on Friday of PAX East 2026 during his 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. shift, I knew that wouldn’t be fair or practical on the very busy Saturday, which is why in this and the past few galleries we swap back and forth roughly every hour.

Since the Fallout Cosplay Meetup was going on in Room 206 during the time we were taking the photos in this gallery, and the Resident Evil 20th Anniversary Cosplay Meetup had finished, both last gallery and this one have quite a few cosplayers representing the RE game franchise. That also meant that Jibrii was in the middle of his three-meetup marathon photography session with a FFXIV Cosplay and Fan Meetup scheduled for 3:45 p.m. Not that he was in Room 206 non-stop for five-plus hours — I made it clear he needed to take breaks and was not expected to be there for every moment of each meetup.

Also in this gallery is a great demonstration of just how much cooperation there is in the cosplay community. I was taking photos of the blood-spattered Ayano Aishi from Yandere Simulator when she commented she couldn’t think of another pose since she didn’t have a knife. Seeing all the RE cosplayers in the queue line, I shouted if anyone had a knife they could lend her. The Jill Valentine in the RE5 baseball cap outfit — seen later in the gallery after the Hinako — was the first of probably a dozen cosplayers that pulled out a prop knife, willing to lend it.

You may notice that the number of tags below is lower than usual, despite the number of photos in the gallery being the same 150ish as previous Saturday galleries. That’s because nearly half of all Instagram tags people left were for private accounts. We don’t tag private accounts, working under the assumption that such people don’t want the hundreds or even thousands of friend requests they might get from being tagged on our social media.
