Win Tickets To Tolkien Screening In Boston Or Hartford!
What are you planning to do after you’ve celebrated Free Comic Book Day or Star Wars Day on May 4th weekend this year? How about going to see the movie about the man who vaulted high fantasy into the mainstream, Tolkien? Oh, and then watch a stream of a LIVE Q&A of stars Nicholas Hoult, Lily Collins and director Dome Karukoski — hosted by Stephen Colbert, whose Tolkien knowledge is as deep as the caverns beneath Moria.
The screenings are Tuesday evening, May 7. There are 5 pairs of tickets for the Boston screening and 10 pairs for the Hartford area screening, and they will be drawn at random from all entries. Click on either of the two links below for the show you want a chance to see.
From the PR material: Tolkien explores the formative years of the renowned author’s life as he finds friendship, courage and inspiration among a fellow group of writers and artists at school. Their brotherhood strengthens as they grow up and whether love and loss together, including Tolkien’s tumultuous courtship of his beloved Edith Bratt, until the outbreak of the First World War which threatens to tear their fellowship apart. All of these experiences would later inspire Tolkien to write his famous Middle-Earth novels.
