Sunday morning I got into the Lyft to head into Anime Boston and the driver considerately asked if I was OK with the music. I couldn’t hear it and couldn’t identify the artist shown on the dash screen. I thought about joking, “Anything as long as it isn’t Christian Country,” but decide to just go with “It sounds fine.” The next song popped up, and it was, of course, Christian Country. Well, at least I hardly heard any of it during the trip in. And ultimately, I was more concerned by the fact that he clearly had never driven in Boston before, prompting a few intense “No! No! Next exit!” outbursts from me.

With that start to the day, I was worried about how the rest would go, but after chatting with fellow photo friend Mauricio (who I hadn’t seen in some time) for a while right at the start, he came back in about 15 minutes with a medium hot black coffee, to my pleasant surprise.

Right out of the gate I started getting cosplay friends showing up for new photos in their Sunday cosplays. Table assistant Clever arrived, in his more traditional Gojo cosplay from Jujutsu Kaisen, then later in the morning another Gojo walked by, from My Dress-Up Darling, with Marin-chan in the Liz the succubus cosplay.

And Miku Myers returned, this time in floppy bunny ears, since it was Easter after all. Bunnies were well represented, with the gallery staring off with a bunny version of Angel Devil from Chainsaw Man, then bunny Jessie from Pokémon, and ending on a bunny version of Ashley from the game The Coffin of Andy and Leyley.

Cosplayers in this first of three Sunday galleries include leilyprince, etta_cosplay, robbarracuda, animesuckx, hail_rosequartz, kodokiidoki, Adventures of Clever, whole_lotta_cat, kirirosecosplay, contradan_cosplay, sleepytokeninthedemoncastle, lexi_wheels, mrlazerpig, atticus._.cos, _spiderlilycosplays_, felinebonescosplay, and many more.
