Horned Cosplays Over The Years Part 2

It turns out that between all the fandoms I take photos of people cosplaying in — anime, comic books, fantasy, horror, sci-fi, gaming, etc. — there are an awful lot of characters with horns. Demons, mutants, monsters, spirits, androids — whatever the hell Elias is — they are all represented in this second of two retrospective galleries of cosplayers sporting horns.

Like the last gallery, this only contains characters that have horns as part of their body (such as it is) and not part of the costume. While that usually rules out Loki and his awesome horned helmet, Samantha Young Cosplay did an amazing version of Loki that wondered what he would look like as a fully mature frost giant. In her design, the horns are like Hellboy’s, a natural part of him and not a helmet.

Also in here are a slew of Bowsettes (and a Bowser), Brandon the Shapeshifter’s excellent take on Maleficent, more Zero Two, and even an Albedo from the anime Overlord. But my true fanboi moment came when I saw at an Arisia convention someone cosplaying as Lorne, the demon karaoke bar owner from Angel.

That said, I broke my own rules to include the cosplayer of Elton John from Rocket Man, because it was so outstanding. Sue me.

Among the cosplayers in this gallery are Cel Cosplay, Samantha Young Cosplay, Trash Bunny CosplayDera Megurine, AssassinAni, Dollilicious, ladycorvid.cosplay, elegantvalkyrie, nataliefuinha, the_gnome_queen, millettantart, Chelsea Von Chastity Cosplay, pooroldkilgram, dany_chan_, v_ghoul, youneedtostrut, wakandantitan, cassplaye, rickdiculous.luv, gracedbycosplay, Momochi Cosplays, savage83, livingdeadmoxxi, Brandon the Shapeshifter, MicroKitty, Thatch Cosplay, chantelantoinette, and many more.

We now use Smugmug to present cosplay photo galleries and will post all photos there, with a link to each gallery in its own gallery article. This will allow us to give you higher resolution images to download — still for free.
